Set in the 1500 acres of parkland at Stansted Park, on the Hampshire, West Sussex border, our garden centre is very different, offering a friendly relaxing atmosphere, a guarantee of quality and excellent customer service.
In the Garden Centre you will find an extensive range of unusual and exciting plants along with the traditional garden plants, sourced from local nurseries.
The shop offers everything you will need, seeds, bulbs, pots, compost, tools, bird care, watering, greenhouses and accessories, chemicals, everything you need for your hanging baskets, mowers, furniture, barbecues, sheds, conservatries, fencing, gates, hard landscaping and much more.

Making your visit to the Garden Centre a more enjoyable day out, try a ride on the light railway, there is also an old fashioned sweet shop with the le salon du chocolat hosting chocolate workshops. A visit to the Sculptures in the south gallery is a must, displays of work by local artists, sculptures, paintings, photographs, jewellery and cards. Ideal as a special gift.
A visit to the pavilion tea room will refresh you with lunch or afternoon tea.
With a Children's play area in the walled garden. The Arboretum and gardens are very pleasant to roam around; Stansted House is open to the public from Easter to September.

We are an independent Garden Centre offering a unique range of top quality products at competitive prices, with lots of interesting things to see. We have event weekends. Children love attending the gardening club with hands on experience, from growing to taking their flowers and produce home.
We also offer children's workshops. All the details can be found in the events diary. We will act quickly to customer requirements sourcing the things you ask for.

There is ample free parking, with free access to Stansted gardens including the Dutch garden opened by Alan Titchmarch.
